Calexico - Carried to Dust

my current personal favorite, these boys from outta Tuscon really crank out the kind of tunes that can amplify any mood. Whether you're on a new adventure or just hanging out on your couch counting the flies on the wall.

the album that is consistently enjoyable at any point in my life, no matter what is going on, is Exile in Guyville.

right now i can't stop listening to The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

I think Anis did a good job. Check out Headlights, it's good. Also maybe try Panda Band's "This Vital Chapter" or pacifc!'s "Reveries", both very sunny albums.

So I totally saw Ben Folds in Connecticutt and the opening band for him was amazing. Check them out. They're called Jukebox the Ghost, and if you love Ben I think you'll really like these guys. Ben of course, was as amazing as amazing could be. Probably the best concert I've ever been too.
